HISTORY

Ideiasnet S.A. started operations on April 10, 2000 by way of transferring, from part of its shareholders, shares of Idéias Participações S.A. and, accordingly, all interests it then held. The Company’s purpose is to hold interest in the capital stock of other companies, developments and consortia as a partner, shareholder, quotaholder or consortium member.

By operating as an investment vehicle in Technology, Media and Telecommunications projects in several development phases, the Company actively contributes to define strategies, positioning in the market and structuring of acquisitions.

On June 8, 2000, the Bovespa session was opened with a novelty: Ideiasnet became the first Brazilian IT company to float shares in the market, all of them common shares (IDNT3).  Currently, Ideiasnet counts on a portfolio of companies operating in the areas of business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), infrastructure, wireless, software development and Media & Entertainment.
