iMusica offers digital music to 8 countries in Latin America

iMusica, in partnership with Nokia, provides the complete solution for music sales (full track download*) of Ideas Music Store, the digital download mobile store in Latin America and in the Caribbean of América Móvil [NYSE: AMX], the leading wireless company in the region. The project, which is already operating in Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Mexico, will serve over 100 million mobile users in major countries in the region.

With a catalog of over 350,000 sound tracks, the store sends the song to the cell phone and in the nearly future will send simultaneously to both cell phone and the computer – known as dual-delivery system-, pioneer in Latin America. This is a special feature for customers, who are able to download the songs directly to their cell phones and computers at no additional cost.

In Brazil, iMusica is also the official content aggregator of National and International independent record labels for stores of full track download of the main mobile network operators in the country.
